Board of Auditors

The Board of Auditors is currently comprised of three statutory auditors and three substitute auditors.

Paolo Fumagalli *


Paolo Fumagalli is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Auditor. He is a Professor of "Pension Funds & Retirement Plans" at the Faculty of Banking, Financial and Insurance Sciences of the Catholic University, in Milan.

He is a Founding Partner of Studio Professionale Associato GFT & Partners.

Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of UnipolSai, Astaldi, Autostrade Lombarde and Eni New Energy, member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Consorzio Logistica Pacchi (Poste Italiane Group), Arriva Italia (Deutsche Bahn Group). Chairman of the Board of BFS Partner and CAPFIN and Director of ICAM. Chairman of the Board of ENI Pension Fund - FOPDIRE. He is Chairman of Supervisory Board of Solidarietà e Servizi Cooperativa Sociale, Chairman of the Board of Auditors of Eni Foundation and San Giacomo Foundation, Director of Russia Cristiana Foundation. 

He was member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Enel Ingegneria e Ricerca, ENI and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CdP). He was also Director of Banca Intesa, Intesa Casse del Centro, Banca Infrastrutture Innovazione e Sviluppo and Leasint; Chairman of the Board of Intesa SanPaolo Vita and Intesa SanPaolo Previdenza.

Lelio Fornabaio

Statutory Auditor

Graduated cum laude in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University in Rome. He is a Public Certified Accountant, Technical Experts of the Civil Court of Rome and Auditor. He is Chairman and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of various listed and non-listed companies and member of the Supervisory Board of several companies and entities. A lecturer in Economics at Italy's Higher Institute of Economics and Finance, he has been Chairman of the Finance Commission and of the National Board of Certified Public Accountants and Bookkeepers, and a member of the Ministry of Economics and Finance's Public Administration Accounting Standards Committee. He has been advisor to Roma Capitale's Public Finance Councillor with regard to the local authority's budget.

Anna Rosa Adiutori

Statutory Auditor

Graduated in Economics from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", with honors; she qualified to practice as a Certified Public Accountant.

In 1983, she founded the Accounting Firm Associates Adiutori.

Associate professor of business law at the Faculty of Economics of La Sapienza University of Rome; acquired the title of Professor in business law after winning the National Tender.

She is author of numerous legal publications, including three books.

She is member of board of audit in several companies; she is chartered accountant listed at No. 251 of the register.

Andrea Lorenzatti *

Substitute Auditor

He graduated in Economic and Business from La Sapienza University in Rome and currently works as a freelance Certified Public Accountant and with Confis Srl as a tax consultant and accounting and administrative assistant. He has accrued specific experience over the years in the field of taxation of construction companies and extraordinary corporate transactions. He chairs and is a member of the Board of Auditors of various companies and has held the position of Tax Assistance Area Manager for CAF IMPRESE UNICA CIDEC SRL since 2011.

Giulia De Martino

Substitute Auditor

She graduated in Economics from LUISS University in Rome and holds a PhD in Corporate Economics from Roma Tre University. She is a Public Certified Accountant and Auditor. She currently works as a freelancer and in this regard has assisted leading industrial groups in relation to financial turnaround and debt restructuring. She is also a member of the Board of Auditors of various listed and non-listed companies. She has been appointed by the Bank of Italy as a member of the Supervisory Board of banks and financial intermediaries subject to administrative receivership. At an academic level, she is currently a researcher in the area of IASs and IFRSs and is an expert in the area of accounting and financial statements at LUISS University in Rome. She is the author of economic publications, including at an international level.

Francesco Follina

Substitute Auditor

A Certified Public Accountant, he graduated in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University in Rome. He has worked as a consultant in the areas of tax and company law, civil-law and tax-related aspects of statutory and extraordinary financial statements since 1984. He is a Technical Consultant of the Civil, Criminal and Appeal Courts of Rome and was a member of the Direct Taxation Advisory Committee and consultant for the Ministry of the Environment and Territorial Protection with regard to tax issues. He holds and has held positions on the Board of Auditors of corporations, including listed corporations. He is currently a consultant for Roma’s local health authorities and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Poste Vita S.p.A.
