Paolo Citterio

Administration & Finance

An Economics graduate and Chartered Accountant, he has been the company’s General Manager-Finance & Administration since 2006, after holding the position of Deputy General Manager with responsibility for Administration and Finance for a period of five years. He started his professional career in Astaldi in 1985 in the administration department. From 1985 to 2001, he was in charge of the Group’s Consolidated Financial Statements. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of various Group companies. At the present time he is Astaldi’s General Manager- Administration & Finance and the Company Manager in charge of financial reporting.

Cesare Bernardini

Europe, Asia ed Africa

A Civil Engineering graduate, he started his professional career in 1983 with the construction company, Costruzioni Generali Mambrini. He joined Astaldi in 1990 and held the position of Technical Manager for various infrastructure projects in Italy over the years. He became Operations Manager-Italy in 2000 and was appointed Deputy General Manager in charge of International Activities and Railway Projects in Italy in 2008. He has held the position of General Manager since 2010. He currently holds a number of different positions within the Group companies. At the present time he is Astaldi’s General Manager-Europe, Asia, Africa and Brenner (Italy). 

Francesco Maria Rotundi

Americas, Itlay and Maghreb

A Civil Engineering graduate, he has been the General Manager – America since 2016. He started his professional career within the company in 1998 and has worked as a technical or local manager for various Italian projects over the years. From 2006 to early 2013 he was the General Manager of Metro C S.p.A., the consortium set up to build Line C of the Rome underground in Italy. He became the Manager with responsibility for Russia in 2013 and subsequently Manager and Deputy General Manager for North America and the Caribbean in 2015. At the present time he is Astaldi’s General Manager-Italy, American Continent, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.
