Activities in El Salvador commenced in the second half of the 1990s with a series of road works such as rehabilitation of the Zacatecoluca-San Marcos-Usulután highway (55km), of the San Miguel-Goascoran highway (53km) and of a 35km-section of the Pan-American highway. The Group was subsequently involved in the performance of healthcare construction works with projects to modernise Ilopango and San Miguel hospitals that are still in the process of being carried out. The most recent contract concerns the El Chaparral dam in the River Torola valley. The contract involves the design and construction of a new 66 MW hydroelectric plant.
