Description
The contract for upgrading of Lot 3 of the Frontieră-Curtici-Simeria railway line entails the upgrading of approx. 40 km of railway in the section between Gurasada and Simeria, with the construction of 17 bridges, electrification, installation of the ERTMS, renovation of 8 railway stations and some minor works.
The customer is CFR SA, Romania’s state railways company. The works are financed through EU funding as part of the POIM programme to modernise the Curtici-Brasov-Constanta Railway Corridor 4.
